Oils & Natural Fragrances
Natural fragrances are generally made from ingredients harvested from sustainably grown plants. They mainly consist of natural isolates which is a single chemical isolated from a plant that contains a particular smell. These aromatic raw materials are usually obtained through distillation, expression and extraction much like essential oils. Natural fragrances are complex compositions of natural aromatic raw materials such as essential oils, isolates, resins, distillates and extracts. Each are skilfully combined by perfumists and blended together, to produce the desired end smell.
Fragrances are the most complex ingredients in the candle. Natural ingredients may darken over time causing some fragrances to change colour. All fragrance materials have been studied by RIFM (Research Institute for Fragrance Materials) for safety, and IFRA (International Fragrance Association) has set forth a code of practices for use of the materials. This ensures that fragrances are safe for consumers. Ingredients are sourced worldwide, and our particular fragrances are manufactured in the USA. See individual fragrances for suitability. Phthalate free Fragrances are unique to our purchase source. Same name does not mean same fragrance elsewhere. Candle fragrances may change in colour from batch to batch and darken over time.
All products sold are free from animal testing and are vegan.
